Moving Day

Today is moving day. It is going to be a crazy day but hopefully because we moved a bunch of boxes already to the new place it won't be too difficult. Even though we have been getting rid of a lot of stuff, it seems that there is always more stuff to pack.

Hopefully it will all be taken care of today and then we can unpack and rest tomorrow.

More good things in store I hope!

In the chaos

In the chaos is moving I find time to spin and watch a podcast. Life may be stressful but it is good.

Saturday knitting

Tonight I did a variety of projects.

I finished my socks! Pictures will be at the bottom, I promise!

I also did some spinning and plying on my drop spindles!  I plyed some of a loop batt I am spinning on my drop spindle and then spun up some of the samples she sent along with fiber I purchased.

I do need to soak it still but it is looking pretty and mostly balanced.

Knitting Tonight

I am in the process of moving to a different apartment. So surrounded by boxes and knowing I need to get rid of a lot more stuff that we just do not use what do I immediately want to do when I get home? Knit of course.

I want to finish a pair of socks I have been knitting out of KnittedWit's Autumn Rainbow on the Victory Sock base. I have been loving them but my Karbon double pointed needles are being frustrating. One of the tips fell off of one of the needles so it makes it frustrating anytime I try to knit with them because I am reminded that another tip might pop off at anytime.

I think if I can bear through thinking that a tip might pop off I could probably finish those tonight.

Then I will be down to only two socks on the needles.

But of course since I also have finish all the things, I want to cast on all the things as well. Finish one, cast one two. But I am really trying to get all my long time projects off the needles so I can concentrate on new exciting things, not that any of my current projects aren't exciting.


Hopefully tomorrow I will have news of a completed sock to share!
